Project: Bedroom, 11m²

Before.Before:
A simple bedroom, not given much time or love when it comes to interior. Just being used for sleeping in. 

After.After:
Ett sovrum på 11 kvm fick plötsligt ett helt nytt liv. Kunden var öppen för förslag men ville gärna ha ett enkelt, stilrent och lyxigt sovrum. Inte för mycket småsaker, enkelt och snyggt helt enkelt. Han ville gärna behålla sin säng och sina sängbord + de två röd/svarta tavlorna. Sedan var det upp till mig. Tavlorna blev vår utgångspunkt, vi hittade färger utifrån bilderna för att sedan skapa hela sovrummet i samma röda tråd. För att göra något utöver det vanliga bestämde jag mig för att testa göra en gavel utan pallar, många har testat det – men jag ville göra min egna version. Eftersom att sängen var 180cm och en vanlig stor pall är 80cm bred, räckte inte två pallar. Som tur var hade jag en super-snickare till handa som hjälpte mig med allt snickeri, och här blev slutresultatet. Jag blev super nöjd! 
Stolen är också en “STYLING BY DENICE” designad stol. En gammal stol köpt på loppis, som blev nedslipad och målad i en halvmatt svart färg. Dynan bytades ut från mönstrad 80-tals tyg till en läcker (fejk) kohud från IKEA. Vem sa att det endast var till som matta? 
TIPS. Ser ni gardinerna? Det är mitt favorit tips. Oj vad många som inte tänker på detta i sina hem, men oj vilken skillnad det gör! Att hänga gardinstängerna i takhöjd, antingen på väggen eller i taket, huvudsaken är bara så högt upp som möjligt. Det höjer takhöjden rejält och rummet får en helt annan känsla.

One bedroom 11 sqm suddenly got a whole new life. The client was open to suggestions but wanted to have a simple, stylish and luxurious bedroom. Not too much things, simple and neat simply. He wanted to keep his bed and his bedside tables + two red / black paintings. Then it was up to me. The paintings became our starting point, we found the colors from the image and then created the entire bedroom in the same thread. To make something out of the ordinary, I decided to try to do a headboard with pallets, many have tested it – but I wanted to make my own version. Since the bed was 180cm and a standard large stool is 80cm wide, it was not enough to use two pallets. Luckily, I had a super-carpenter to provide me with help, and this was the end result. I was super happy!
The chair is also a “STYLING BY DENICE” designed chair. An old chair bought at the flea market, which was ground down and painted in a satin black color. The pad got switched from fabric from the 80th century to a luxury (fake) cowskin from IKEA. Who said it could only be used as a rug?
TIP. Do you see the curtains? It’s my favorite tips. There are so many people who do not think of this in their home, but oh what a difference it makes! To hang curtain rods in the ceiling height, either on the wall or ceiling, the main thing is just as high up as possible. It raises the ceiling height dramatically and the room takes on a whole different feel.
